Centre for Human Factors (CFH)

Our mission is to make work healthier through addressing psychosocial risks to health and safety. We particularly advocate for the use of evidence-based, pro-active and preventative approaches to tackling issues such as stress and fatigue, using systematic and robust methods of analysis to support organisations in understanding their unique organisational challenges and enabling informed intervention.

Our team of Psychologists, Researchers and Associates brings together expertise from across the University of Hull to offer a range of consultancy and applied research services. With particular expertise in applied research methods, risk management, occupational stress and fatigue, our team has experience across a range of industries including oil & gas, offshore wind, local government, and emergency services.
